As we dig into the practices of Jesus, one thing that’s unmistakable is the call to the church to be the ecclesia–the “called out ones” who are now transformed out of whoever they were before and into a new people. 1 Peter calls this a chosen people, a holy nation, a royal priesthood, a people belonging to God. And one thing that marks this out is a radical hospitality and a kindness to the stranger. Let’s do a series designed to define hospitality and look at some ways that Element church is and wants to be growing in this practice.
